Sterling clay is the newest addition to the PMC line of metal clays. I appreciate the increased strength of the sterling clay as well as the ease of working with it. I find it to be more forgiving in terms of drying out as well as being wonderful to add carved details. I now use .960 sterling clay because it doesn’t require a two-step firing process including a firing in carbon. You will learn how to create this new alloy that gives additional strength in the metal and a quicker, simpler firing process. The emphasis will be on making rings, but you are also welcome to use your sterling clay to make other items including thinner or open work earrings or pendants and bracelets which also benefit from the added strength.
Waiting list only at this time.
